Maintain a unique look
That is an accurate reflection of my sensibilities
Without straying too far into the opposite extremes of being too trendy (NYC’s influence), too wierd (my sister’s influence), or too matchy (my mother’s influence)
On a budget
When a third of the clothes don’t fit because you’ve lost weight, another third don’t fit because you haven’t lost enough weight, and you can’t replace any of them because of insufficient funds (see budget item above)
For an unconventional shape (long torso, short legs, whole lotta hips, unremarkable bust)
